Hosting
The site and the calendar feeds are delivered by Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Whenever your browser or calendar app fetches a page or feed, Cloudflare necessarily processes your IP address, the time, the requested address and your browser or app identifier, in order to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We do not keep our own logs. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our interest in running the site securely). Cloudflare acts as our processor; transfers to the USA rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Cloudflare is certified.
Stored in your browser
If you pick light or dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device and only serves the setting you asked for (Section 25(2) no. 2 TTDSG/TDDDG). Your filter selection lives only in the page address.
Links to other services
Links to sources, to Google Calendar or to a calendar subscription only open the other service when you click them; from then on its own privacy policy applies. If you subscribe to a feed in Google Calendar, Google fetches the feed from us regularly.
If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and delete them once the matter is settled. Mail to [email protected] is forwarded via Cloudflare Email Routing to a Google Mail inbox.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
